2. Which apps you lock — Screen Time (Family Controls)

Feierabend uses Apple's Family Controls/Screen Time framework to lock your work apps on a schedule. The selection you make in the Family Activity Picker is managed by iOS itself as an encrypted token list that Feierabend cannot read. Feierabend never learns which apps you selected — not by name, not by category. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

3. What's stored locally on your device

All of the following stays exclusively in the app's local data group on your iPhone. None of it is ever sent to a server, because there isn't one:

• Your schedule (weekdays, times)
• Parked thoughts (text, timestamp)
• Vacation details (date range, optional emergency contact, handover checklist, journal entries/photos)
• Settings (haptic pattern, notification preferences)

An optional emergency contact or key-holder is only stored if you explicitly pick one via iOS's Contacts picker during vacation setup — name and phone number stay on your device.

4. Spare key and Keychain

For the optional vacation spare key, the 6-digit code itself is never stored — only a salted hash. For the app-based variant, the TOTP secret lives exclusively in your device's Keychain, access-protected and excluded from backups that could be decrypted on another device.

5. The AI gatekeeper (Durchbruch)

On devices with Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later), Feierabend optionally checks your reasoning for an early unlock using Apple's Foundation Models — entirely on your device. The text never leaves your iPhone and is never sent to Apple, Feierabend, or anyone else. Without Apple Intelligence, Feierabend falls back to a simple length/keyword check, also entirely local.

6. Notifications

All notifications are scheduled locally (UNUserNotificationCenter) — there is no push server and no provider in the middle.

7. Subscriptions (Wohlverdient)

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Feierabend never sees your payment details or Apple ID — purchase processing is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

8. Watch app

The optional Apple Watch app mirrors the same state as your iPhone. Transfer happens purely via WatchConnectivity, directly between your two devices — never through a server.

9. Children

Feierabend is not directed at children and does not collect data from children specifically — in fact, the app doesn't collect personal data off-device at all, regardless of age.

10. Deletion

Uninstalling Feierabend causes iOS to delete all of the app's locally stored data automatically. There is no server-side copy that could persist beyond that.

11. Your rights

Because Feierabend does not transmit personal data to us or to third parties, there are no corresponding processing activities on our end for which access, correction, or deletion requests under Art. 15 et seq.
